Five Houston High School volleyball players -- from left: Janae Huff, Emily Shea, Melody Buse, Sevanna Rowland and Brooke McGown -- were named last week to the Missouri Academic All-State team. To qualify for the honor, players must have a cumulative 3.6 grade point average or higher and play in 75 percent of the team's varsity matches.
