50 YEARS AGO — A few more days of favorable weather would permit completion of all exterior masonry on this addition to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The new wing, a 24-bed addition, was under contract to the C.C. Smith Construction Co. of Mansfield. Work on a storage room which connected to the north side of the hospital was nearing completion. Cost of the entire project is 77,950.
