Two persons have filed for seats on the Houston City Council. Charles “Chalky” Wells, who formerly served on the council, filed for the Ward II seat held by Sheila Walker. Ward III Alderman Viki Castleman Narancich is seeking re-election. The term of Ward I Councilman Joe Honeycutt also expires.
