Eight members of the Houston High School FFA attended state camp June 19-23 at Camp Rising Sun on Lake of the Ozarks.

Members participated in leadership classes throughout the week, as well as enjoyed recreational time. Members also played in tournaments in different activities, such as volleyball, basketball, tetherball and badminton.

State leadership pins were awarded to Vanessa Kirkwood and Dalton Dzurick. Dzurick also received the all-around camper award for the chapter.

Also attending were Dakota Olson, Andrew Teem, Jacob Koch, Lane Revelle, John Wallace and Breckon Adey.
