• For the first time, the majority of U.S. households only have cellphones, according to a recent survey by the Centers for Disease Control. The CDC survey found that 50.8 percent of households had only mobile service, while 39.4 percent had mobile and landlines and 6.5 percent had landlines only, Fortune reports. Twenty thousand homes were surveyed.
