Quincey McDonald returned two interceptions for touchdowns during the stretch. …McDonald leads the Bears’ offense with 65 carries for 380 yards and seven touchdowns. …Sophomore quarterback Caleb Johnson is 14-for-36 passing for 281 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He is also second on the team with 41 carries for 187 yards and two scores. …Ava has won the last seven meetings with Houston. The Tigers last won 27-25 in 2008. …HHS coach Eric Sloan said Ava’s main offensive weapon is the option. “It’ll have to be fundamental defense,” he said. “You have to do your job.
