For four days last week, area youth and adults gathered at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds for the Texas County Livestock Fair, hosted by the Texas County Fair Board. Awards were presented in numerous categories in horticulture, agriculture mechanics and livestock divisions. The event concluded Saturday afternoon with the annual junior livestock sale.
