James and Judy Hubbs Williams will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Nov. 25. They were married in 1961 and completed their college work in education. They moved to Alaska and taught in the small native villages, with Jim becoming the superintendent of schools for several remote areas. Upon return to Missouri, they taught in Houston and surrounding schools. Being adventurous, they decided to move to Florida and for the past several years have traveled between both states.
