The next phase of a project to extend Thomasville Road in Houston – applying a rock base – could begin later this week. Gaines Construction Co. of Rolla is the contractor for the excavation work totaling about $224,200. Another part of the bid includes an initial two-inch overlay of asphalt costing $89,688.
